The Klein-Altendorf campus (CKA) is the external laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Bonn: field trials for innovations in plant cultivation are carried out here. Highlights of the visit on 23 September include robots for weed control and apple harvesting as well as the cascade use of renewable raw materials.

Dear colleagues,

ENAJ and the project team of EU-FarmBook welcome ENAJ members to a LBPT from 22-24 September in Bonn, Germany. The programme offers rich opportunities to develop compelling, high-impact stories on agri-innovation, climate-smart farming and knowledge transfer.

Arrival and Departure

The destination is the main railway station in Bonn. The nearest airports are Frankfurt Airport and Düsseldorf Airport (the journey from the airports to Bonn by train and public transport takes around 2 hours). The hotel is a five-minute walk from the railway station. After the excursion programme on Wednesday, 24 September, the bus will return to Bonn Central Station at around 2 pm.
