Goals
- Fertilizers Europe represents the major fertilizer manufactures in the EU. Its members account for approximately 80% of the region’s fertilizer production capacity and around 90% of the ammonia production in Europe.
- As an industry association, Fertilizers Europe’s mission is to identify, promote and manage the common interests of its members.
- Fertilizers provide nutrients to grow and secure food, feeding half of the global population. The EU fertilizers industry is working hand-in-hand with farmers to roll out low-carbon and circular solutions to ensure strategic autonomy and sustainability of food systems.
- The association communicates with a wide variety of stakeholders on fertilizer technology and topics related to agricultural, climate, environmental and economic challenges and is commonly recognised as the dedicated industry source of information on mineral fertilizers.
