The European Forum of Farm Animal Breeders (EFFAB) is the voice of European animal breeding and reproduction organisations active in ruminant, pig, poultry, aqua and insect genetics. From small, medium and global organisations, EFFAB covers a wide variety of actors breeding for conventional, outdoor and organic animal farmers. Their mission is to engage in dialogue and raise awareness around the role of animal breeding in enhancing all types of animal farming systems.

Goals
EFFAB supports its members by:
- Engaging in dialogue with policymakers and stakeholders
- Advocating for proportionate and science-based policy and legislation
- Supporting and promoting responsible animal breeding through Code EFBAR
- Promoting and supporting Research & Innovation taking part in several EU Research Projects, by facilitating the communication, dissemination and stakeholder engagement.
