Romanian press trip announced

The Agricultural Press Association in Romania (APAR) has announced dates and details for its first ENAJ low-budget press trip.

Focusing on the south-east region of Romania, and the well-known Danube Delta, it will take place between 19-25 June 2017 inclusive, with the main activities occurring over five days between 20-24 June.

“It’s a busy programme, but we promise that after this experience, you’ll love Romania and its agriculture!” says Nicoleta Dragomir, APAR chairwoman.

romania_regions_mapBucharest’s Otopeni airport is well-served by international flights. Arriving on the first day, delegates will be free to explore the capital city during the day before the evening welcome dinner. Visits scheduled for the tour include the Bucharest Agricultural and Veterinary University; a leading Holstein cattle breeder; a cruise along the Danube Delta featuring interactive presentations on Romanian agriculture, rural tourism and environmental conservation; Black Sea fisheries; wine production; orchard fruit farms, and local firms producing traditional Romanian food products.

More information about how to apply for a place on the Romanian low-budget trip will be published early in 2017. Fees for the trip will be €50; there are 25 places available to ENAJ members.
