Registration now open for ENAJ LBPT to Norway – June 19-21

Dear Colleagues,

The European Network of Agricultural Journalists (ENAJ) is delighted to invite you and your guild members to an inspiring Low-Budget Press Trip (LBPT) to Norway, hosted by the Norwegian Guild of Agricultural Journalists (NLJ), from June 19–21, 2025.

This year’s theme, “Carbon, No Fence, and Lower Methane – An Insight into Future Agriculture,” promises a rich and thought-provoking program centered around innovation, sustainability, and the future of food production.

🔍 What to Expect
From virtual fencing and soil health to biochar, pig genetics, and methane reduction in dairy farming, the program offers an exclusive look into some of the most exciting advancements in Norwegian agriculture:

  • Explore the Karbon Agro Festival at Skoftestad Farm, featuring soil biology, regenerative techniques, and insights from international experts.
  • Visit pioneers like Monil and Nofence, who are transforming livestock management with cutting-edge virtual fencing technologies.
  • Tour Obio’s biochar facility and discover how Norwegian wood is being turned into a powerful tool for animal feed and carbon storage.
  • Learn about global pig breeding from Topigs Norsvin and the sustainable genetics work of Geno with Norwegian Red cattle.

Full program details can be found in the attached PDF.
