ENAJ, the European Network of Agricultural Journalists, has the freedom of the press as its main cornerstone.
Therefore, we totally condemn the Russian government for threatening journalists to spend up to 15 years in prison if they intend to freely carry out their job. They are also threatening the ones who show their dissent about the war.
Stoping the search for truth and spreading of information will essentially damage the one who imposes it.
ENAJ supports agricultural journalists regardless of their nation or side in the conflict. We are going to do our best in order to bring them help, by relying on supporting organizations.
