Two New Associate Members for ENAJ

ENAJ has welcomed two new associate members at the beginning of 2026: European Coordination Via Campesina (ECVC) and Fertilizers Europe.

European Coordination Via Campesina (ECVC) represents peasant farmers, small- and medium-scale farmers, and agricultural workers across Europe. Originating from the European branch of La Via Campesina, the organization has grown into the largest grassroots peasant movement globally. ECVC brings together 28 national and regional peasant organizations from 20 European countries.

ECVC’s goals include promoting agroecology, ensuring fair incomes for food producers, and supporting the sustainable management of production-based resources—especially in the context of climate change. The organization also works to raise awareness of these policy objectives among farmers, policymakers, researchers, and civil society.

Fertilizers Europe represents the interests of 15 fertilizer manufacturers from EU member states and 9 national fertilizer associations.
The association communicates about fertilizer products, application technologies, and issues related to current agricultural, environmental, and economic challenges. It engages with a broad range of stakeholders, including EU and national policymakers as well as members of the general public seeking information.

ENAJ meeting with associate members on January 2026

At the end of January, ENAJ presented its key activities and development initiatives for the year to its associate members and discussed opportunities to collaborate with them during a meeting at the premises of EuroCommerce.

Compared with a year ago, ENAJ now has five additional associate members. Associate members are EU-level umbrella organizations representing diverse interest groups across the food chain.

They help ENAJ strengthen access to information and expand networking opportunities for ENAJ member guilds and European agricultural journalists.
